Private Label Vitamin C Manufacturing Process

With every new order of custom supplements or private label supplements that are placed with BL Bio Lab, there is a fundamental process flow that must be executed to perfection in order to deliver the finished product to the customer. After our Global Supply Chain Purchasing Team purchases the needed raw materials to make each product they will arrive at our facility. Upon arrival they will be quarantined and prepared for laboratory testing. During laboratory testing our Quality Control Chemists will be making sure that each and every raw material that is delivered to our facility from somewhere across the globe is tested for identity, efficacy, and quality. BL Bio Lab has high standards for raw materials because their quality is reflected in the finished product.

Our Quality Control Lab executes all of the raw material, stability and finish product testing for every product that is formulated and shipped to and from our facility. Once our testing process is completed, out Quality Control (QC) team will determine if the raw material is approved or disapproved. If disapproved, all raw material is rejected. If approved, the raw material is entered into our active inventory, the QC will begin weighting the ingredients and then verified for mixing. If disapproved, it is quarantined and our QC team begins investigating the issues to declare the mixing of the product a needed rework or rejection. If approved, it then moves into actual supplement manufacturing production.

Product is then filled in bottle and/or unit packaging, passed to QC Label Control/Verification, then to production labeling, and on to QC Final Product Testing. If testing issues are found, it is disapproved and moved to quarantine for further review. If approved, the product order is prepared for shipping. This process can take from the point of initial purchase anywhere between 5 to 8 weeks depending on the complexity of the product formulation.
